Upon driving the vehicle, service power steering would randomly flash on the dic multiple times throughout the journey (while slowing down, at a stop and accelerating). Loss of power steering has yet to happen, but seems very imminent. Upon vin check, the vehicle is not a part of the recall and this seems to be an error.

I drove the car 4 miles then turned it off and parked. Upon starting the vehicle again the power steering failed. A warning on the dash indicated that the power steering was not working and to drive carefully. I drove the car back home 4 miles and parked in the garage. The condition cleared after i shut the car off and restarted it. The vehicle was parked when the incident occurred.
