I have problems with the brakes & rotors on my 2001 camaro. They are warping. Why has there not been a recall? Hello ! Guess there will be after someone gets hurt or killed. People can not keep paying for brakes and rotors. Hope someone wakes up soon.*jb

Have had 2 sets of rotors on this car since purchased. Now needs another set. Warranty will no longer cover this. Car is driven less than 20 miles per day, and currently has 28k on the 3rd set of rotors, dealer claims this is normal. This is not normal!! Car should not be having these problems. Disk brake rotors. The disk brake rotors warp so often that they constantly need turned or replaced. I have had them turned at approx 11000 miles and they already need attention again. They make intermitant noise and you can feel the wobble when you go to stop. Looking on the internet this is a very common complaint with this vehicle and the brake rotors.*ak

The rotors on *all* camaros sinc approximately 1998 are faulty. However, the 2001 and 2002 models seem to be suffering the most frequent failures. The rotors on my 2001 z28 warped and were serviced under warranty at 6,500 miles. Already, at 11,000 miles, they are warped again.
