I have a 2000 camaro ss with 34000 miles on it and my original transmission's 5th gear went out at 14000, note my car is not under warranty because of a reconditioned title. Once the vehicle warms up, the shift skip (which locks you out of 2nd gear when doing "rabbit" starts if properly working) tends to lock me out of 2nd and 3rd gears both on a consistant basis.
